I am a doctoral candidate in Rhetoric and Composition at Purdue University with research interests in public rhetorics, professional writing, and Appalachian Studies. My dissertation is a yearlong ethnographic study of public rhetoric at an Appalachian advocacy organization. I have experience teaching Introductory Composition, English Composition, Business Writing, and Rhetorical Grammar. Through a research collaboration at Purdue, I currently serve as technical writer for Project ARCH, a Veterans Health Administration initiative to increase access to healthcare for Veterans in rural and highly rural areas.
